I'm Robert. I photograph weddings the way they actually happen.

Headshot of a man with glasses, a beard, and mustache, wearing a suit and tie against a gray background.

A documentary wedding photographer based in Linlithgow, Scotland.
Originally from Poland, Scotland was a choice, not a birthright. That fresh perspective never left.

Most wedding photos show how the day looked. What interests me is how it felt.

Weddings are full of moments that disappear in seconds. A whispered word before the ceremony. The way someone's shoulders relax when they finally see their partner. The chaos and joy of a ceilidh at midnight. These moments don't wait, and they can't be recreated.

That's what your photographs will give you. Not stiff smiles and forced poses, but your grandparents actually laughing. Your guests as they really are. The emotion on your partner's face that you were too overwhelmed to notice at the time. Something real to pass on to everyone who comes after you.

To capture that, I work quietly and stay invisible. No directing, no interrupting, no stress. Just careful observation, and an eye trained on composition, light, and the decisive moment.

Studied Professional Photography at Edinburgh College. After a few years away building software, I came back to the only thing that felt right, a camera, real people, real emotion.

My approach is rooted in documentary photography — learn more about my style.
